Price guide

Every BRISK job is quoted for your business or home, so we do not publish a fixed tariff. This page explains how our prices work and when they can change. Your quote and order show your actual prices.

Your quote is your price

You get the price in writing before you are bound, including any installation, connection or equipment charges. For home customers the price includes VAT unless the quote clearly says otherwise. Recurring charges start when the service goes live, not when you sign.

Price changes during your minimum term

If a recurring price will rise during your minimum term, the rise is written into your order before you agree, in pounds and pence, with the date. We make no other increase during that term, even if our own costs go up.

After your minimum term

  • We may increase a recurring price on at least 30 days’ written notice.
  • If a supplier we buy from, such as a software vendor, licensor or network, raises what it charges us, we may pass that on at cost, on 30 days’ notice, saying what has gone up and by how much. We never use this to raise our own margin.
  • Either way, you can end the affected service without any charge by telling us before the increase takes effect.

Ending a service early

If you end an ongoing service before its minimum term is up, the charge is the remaining monthly charges less anything we save, plus any charge our carrier or supplier makes us pay to stop the service early, plus the unpaid balance of any equipment we supplied at a reduced price. For business customers there is also an administration and disconnection charge of £150 + VAT. We will show you the calculation, and home customers are never charged more than we actually lose.

You pay nothing to leave if we have broken the contract and not put it right, or if we raise the price after your minimum term.

Other charges to know about

  • Missed or abortive visits (business customers): if an engineer cannot do the work because the site is not ready, there is no access, or an appointment is changed with less than two working days’ notice, we may pass on the carrier’s or subcontractor’s charge plus £35 + VAT, or charge our standard rate for the time and travel.
  • Premium-rate, international and satellite calls are barred by default and switched on only if you ask in writing.
  • A backup for calling 999 in a power cut is free where you need one. See calling 999 in a power cut.
